Yep, here it is folks. The debate is finally over. Using the infallible metric of Metacritic scores, I have at final determined the unarguable Best and Worst Games of 2017 For Forever And Ever. I am being facetious, if you couldn't tell.

I have curated the listing with the following criteria:

1. Games with under 20 reviews are excluded.
2. No DLC, expansions, etc.
3. Ports and rereleases of games first released earlier 2017 are excluded.
4. Multiplatform games are listed according to whichever version has the most reviews; all other versions are excluded.
5. I combined the episodic games (Life is Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy, Batman) into i entry each, and also combined Pokemon Ultra Dominicus and Ultra Moon.

Yeah I empathize why, but information technology doesn't make me feel any meliorate. Not to telephone call anyone's scores "wrong", only if you're into VNs it'south 1 of the best out there - and to run into it in the mid 70s and the high 60s (!) is depressing. It deserves better.

Only wanted to betoken out that I experience bad for Syberia 3, if that game had been worked on much harder it could been much improve and well received doing justice every bit a render of the series but it gave no excitement plagued with bugs and no smoothen. I don't why just I expected that game not to take such a clichè storyline and ho-hum puzzles to figure out.

Every bit for the balance of the games Zelda is pretty much always hit top Metacritic scores compared to every other game. EVERY Single Fourth dimension.

I don't call up most VNs will ever accept good scores from mainstream outlets unless they're western or western friendly (like Ace Attorney or death-games series like Goose egg Escape/Danganronpa).

Yep I understand why, but it doesn't make me feel whatever better. Non to phone call anyone's scores "incorrect", only if you lot're into VNs it's one of the best out there - and to see it in the mid 70s and the high 60s (!) is depressing. It deserves better.

Super Bomberman R being so low is a criminal offence, and I oasis't even played my copy yet, because it'southward been patched numerously and probably by now has like, twice the content it did earlier I would gauge. Reviews from launch really shouldn't reflect it today.

Based on previous years, 93 was as high every bit reviewers would go. Seems like a
Chunk of the gaming press was possibly saving their perfect scores for mario and zelda.

Im non saying that mario and zelda didnt deserve those scores, i just plant it curious that those two smashed through this glass
